Keys to hold while pressing power

  • menu -> safe mode
  • home -> recovery utility
  • camera - > bootloader mode (Bootloader)
  • trackball -> radio interface
  • home+back -> factory reset - a different method to do the same thing as alt+w in recovery mode

Recovery Commands

These commands are for the 'Recovery mode' screen - i.e. when you see the graphic of the exclamation point and a phone

  • Alt+L - toggle logging to the screen (this also prints out a menu of options)
  • Alt+S - apply update on sdcard (update.zip)
  • Alt+W - factory reset (wipe all data)
  • return -> boot loader information screen
